On April 8 from approximately 11:48 a.m. to 1:40 p.m., a partial solar eclipse will be observable in Alberta. This is an exciting astronomical event, but it is also important to prioritize the well-being of students. Looking directly at the sun without safety eyewear poses a significant risk of eye damage. RVS teachers will talk to students about how to protect their eyes and we encourage parents/guardians to have these conversations with their children as well.
