Bus Pass Information & Replacement

Bus passes help us manage ridership numbers on the bus and can assist in finding missing students. The permanent electronic bus pass must be scanned by the card reader as your child gets on and off the bus daily for both the morning and afternoon ride.

If your student’s bus pass has been lost or damaged, replacement bus passes can be obtained in person at the RVS Education Centre or online through your SchoolEngage account. There is a $15 fee for replacement.

  • Log into your PowerSchool Parent Portal account and select SchoolEngage from the left-hand menu.
  • For CCSD students, please log into your SchoolEngage account.
  • From the SchoolEngage home page, select {New} beside “Replacement Bus Pass and Miscellaneous Transportation Payments” to proceed with your request. Please note: the submit button will only appear once all fields are filled out correctly.
  • Bus passes will be sent out by mail after payment is received. Please print a copy of the receipt to show the bus driver until the bus pass arrives.
  • If you purchased a bus pass pouch it will be given to your driver to deliver directly to your student.

Once the replacement bus pass is activated, the old pass is deactivated. If the old pass is found within 14 days of requesting a new pass, bring both passes to the RVS Transportation Office at 2651 Chinook Winds Drive in Airdrie for a refund of the replacement pass.
